Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the Tecnifibre TF40 designed for?

The TF40 is designed for advanced and competitive players who demand maximum control, feel, and precision. Its thin beam, dense string pattern (18x20 on some models), and traditional players' frame construction are suited to players with fast, full swings who generate their own pace.

Is the TF40 suitable for intermediate players?

The TF40 is best suited to advanced players rather than intermediates. Its unforgiving, control-focused design requires a technically sound game and fast swing speed to get the best from the frame. Intermediate players may find it difficult to generate power without good technique.

What tension works best with the TF40?

Most TF40 users string at 24 27 kg (53 60 lbs) with polyester or hybrid setups. Natural gut is also popular with players who want maximum touch and feel from this premium control frame. Start at the middle of the recommended tension range and adjust based on your control and power preferences.
